Number 3!

Wow, I'm on a roll with blogging today. Here's the detailed-ish update to my quickie post earlier today. The only thing I really had details for was the haircut I got yesterday.

So, I walked over to Great Clips while Peter/Drew/Honyin went grocery shopping at Henry's. I didn't realize that Great Clips was a chain! Like Super Cuts! Oh no. I got a little scared. I didn't have very good experiences with Super Cuts because most of the hair cutters there are just amateur bums looking for experience. Great Clips is just the same, more or less.

Drew told me earlier to ask for Angela, who was this nice black lady who apparently knows her stuff. I was too scared to ask, but a black lady came anyway and took my information. But her name was Bridget. Oh well. haha. She took a while to get set up - I guess she just got in not too long ago, and she wasn't expecting to cut hair today?

Anyway, once she got started, she took foreverrrrrrrrrrr to do a "fade" on my sides. I had no idea what she was doing. It was like she was coloring in my hair with the buzzer. She went over it so many times, with varying clips. Another guy came in, and the other lady finished his cut in like 1/4th the time it took to do mine.

But I kept a smile on anyway, hoped for the best. haha, it didn't turn out bad, I guess. Looks normal, but I don't know if I'd want to go back. It's $14 for a regular cut. I had a $5 coupon, but I can consistenly get $9 cuts from my Asian place. Those only take 15 minutes. haha
